Washington, D.C., May 14, 2008:  The International Green Energy Council has established by resolution of its Executive Board of Directors a Chapter to be established and located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This will be the twenty eighth chapter of the organization Worldwide.IGEC Board members visited the U.S. Virgin Islands in early February of this year. During the four day visit IGEC Board members met with WAPA ( Water and Power Authority ) at Caneel Bay Resort who hosted the meeting.

International President, Ralph Avallone visited WAPA facilities along with several other IGEC Board members.
