Sheldon L. Wilson, the Executive Director & Owner of Wilson Consultants Corporation (WCC), a disaster recovery and reconstruction management firm is a results-oriented executive with close to 2 decades of successful management In private sector sales and public sector consulting, over the past 4 years, he has developed WCC as a strong, reliable and reputable African American certified 8(a) disaster recovery firm specializing in hurricane and tornado disaster response with emphasis on high levels of quality management, ethical and fiduciary commitment to our subcontractors, and superior public relations with community stakeholders. WCC has been sought to manage disaster recovery operations in multiple states simultaneously.

He graduated from Stonybrook with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1991. Upon graduation, Mr. Wilson entered the field of education as a Teacher of Economics at the Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida
.
In 1992, Mr. Wilson pursued a career in retail-finance and joined A.S. Goldman in New York as an Account Executive. After obtaining his series 7 and 63 securities licensing, he developed an active client base consisting of more than 500 high net-worth individuals in under 2 years. In addition to developing investment strategies for his personal clients, he also raised venture capital for emerging growth companies, private placements, initial public offerings, primary and secondary offerings, and bridge financing. By 1994, Sheldon became Senior Vice President where he managed a sales force that included over 40 Account Executives. He raised venture capital for several successful IPOs including Winfield Capital (WCAP), Innovative Technical Solutions (ITSY), and Planet Hollywood (PHWD) to name a few.

Myers, Pollock & Robbins in New York City then recruited Mr. Wilson as a Vice President and Principal. His primary function was to raise venture capital and manage a large sales force. He recruited, developed, and managed 40 Brokers with investment assets in small-capitalized companies. In addition to managing day-to-day sales and operational functions for this high-volume branch office, Mr. Wilson also raised venture capital for primary offerings.

With a reputation as a successful sales professional and money manager already established, Sheldon was then asked to join First Liberty in Manhattan as a Principal. He co-managed a retail branch on 80 Broad Street for this full-service investment firm that specialized in government municipal bonds. After recruiting, training and licensing 20 Account Executives, he developed aggressive sales and marketing strategies to help the firm reach a new plateau. Within one year, Sheldon increased First Liberty’s assets under management by nearly 100% and raised capital for private placements in the software industry.

In 2000-2002, Sheldon was invited to consult both the Governor and the Secretary of State of New Jersey on statewide entrepreneurial development. Here, he innovatively provided more efficient ways to improve financial literacy, reduce crime in the urban communities and catalyze job creation throughout the state of New Jersey under Governor Christine Todd Whitman’s administration. He was personally honored by Governor James McGreevey for his work in pioneering and producing the First Annual New Jersey State Entrepreneurial Summit in January of 2002 for the Governor.

With strong congressional support and advocacy, Sheldon believes that WCC can uniquely position itself in multiple industries as the consummate service provider. Self driven and industry versed, Mr. Wilson is enthusiastic about creating new niches in the disaster recovery arena. He is confident that his vast sales knowledge, proven record of achievement, proven high level of private and public service and analytical skills will be a significant component in the success of any organization.
