Luz Marina Arango, born August 3rd, 1954 in Bogota, Colombia.
Luz Marina Arango is the president and owner of TDC SERVICES and TDC EVENTS INTERNATIONAL.

Ever since she completed her university studies she has been a businesswoman and an entrepreneur. She has always been the owner of all of the companies she has worked for in different sectors of business such as home decor, education, TV and cable operation among others.

In 1884, Luz Marina started a cable company in Bogota Colombia. It was a tough business because it was, at that time and still is today, a business where the majority are men, but she managed to succeed and became one of the first women cable operators of her city. Because of the necessity and lack of information, education and technology she began contacting American companies to have them come to Colombia and start educating the sector. She organized the first conference of Cable TV and convergent Technologies.

In 1994 she sold her cable operation and started her company TDC SERVICES. TDC SERVICES is responsible for organizing the international trade show ANDINA LINK, which has focused its efforts on providing technology solutions for Latin Americans around new developing telecommunication businesses. Her drive and perseverance in everything that she does, is the reason why today ANDINA LINK, is the most important event of the telecommunications industry, Cable Television and converging technologies in Latin America.

Luz Marina Arango has managed to gather in one room the biggest companies and players in the telecommunication sector, who meet to discuss and talk about the future of the industry, achieving major findings, which over the years have become accurate predictions.

The experience in organizing events over the years has enabled her to penetrate new markets and new industries with he company TDC EVENTS INTERNATIONAL a company dedicated to the organization of events around the world.

Today her company TDC EVENTS INTERNATIONAL not only organizes the show ANDINA LINK, but also is working with several other international trade shows in various sectors such as Telecommunication, Medical, Renewable Energy in countries such as Costa Rica, Philippines, Mexico and USA, among others.

Discipline, consistency, perseverance and organization are the four words that define this Colombian entrepreneur.
