Thompson & Associates, Inc. (T&A) is focused on providing quality and responsive professional engineering consulting to our clients. Our president, James F. Thompson, PE, has over 15 years of experience for both municipal and private clients. Our municipal projects range from small treatment plant retrofits to large neighborhood redevelopment projects. Our land development experience is just as diverse, with projects ranging from small commercial sites to large master-planned communities with multi-use facilities. It is this unique and diverse experience, along with our personalized approach that allows T&A to provide a positive and rewarding consulting experience for our clients.

T&A has three (3) conveniently located offices; one in downtown West Palm Beach on Australian Avenue, one near I-595 and Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, and one in north-west Broward County just off of the Florida Turnpike in Coconut Creek. From these centralized locations, we can access anywhere in South Florida with ease, which enables us to be responsive and exceed our clients’ expectations.

T&A utilizes the latest software and technology on all of our projects which allows us to complete tasks in a timely manner. It is this efficiency that enables T&A with consistently meeting project scheduling and budgeting goals. T&A has also embraced the green design approach to development. As a member of the United States Green Building Council and the Green Energy Council, our staff members are certified as LEED Accredited Professionals and incorporate these design practices whenever practical.
