Gary Olson, Managing Director

 

Gary Olson is a Managing Director of Product & Operations with SmartPower Technologies, LLC. Mr. Olson is responsible for on-site site energy efficiency implementation and construction, along with management of daily business activity. Mr. Olson is responsible for finding and validating "Best of Breed" in all Smartpower product offerings. His expertise is in energy efficiency best practices, energy efficient window applications and general contracting. 

Mr. Olson has over 25 years experience in residential and commercial building design and construction management. He began his career as a custom general contractor and framing contractor specializing in intricate roof designs. His company A Trubuilders Inc. and affiliates have completed over $100 million of custom designs and construction since 1984. Jobs included residential homes, commercial buildings, hotels and night clubs throughout the Jersey Shore area.

Mr. Olson was a licensed building inspector and general contractor in the State of New Jersey and is currently a licensed builder in State of Florida. Mr. Olson was a preferred contractor for State Farm Insurance in  NJ handling large loss reconstruction.  He has numerous certifications including - University of Florida - My Safe Florida Home Wind & Hurricane Mitigation Inspector.
