Mr. Derek Avallone serves as the National Green Energy Councils Vice President of Emerging Technology.

Mr. Avallone is committed to educate and encourage people to embrace renewable energy production and sustainable building and design practices as well as be a voice of reason to legislators on behalf of better environmental stewardship. He travels throughout the United States and abroad, promoting the Green Energy Councils Education Initiative, discussing climate change and the environment.

Mr. Avallone strives to find resources for financing and funding for Green Energy projects. He also nourishes and promotes methods to develop a means for everyone to participate in the production of renewable energy products and create a new “green collar” job sector.

Mr. Derek Avallone is recognized as a profitable and successful Wall Street investor, inventor, educator and business developer. His ideas and ventures have helped himself and others to achieve success. His genuine interest in the education and betterment of others has gained him the respect of his peers, employees and those who have been involved with him in the private sector.

While obtaining his B.S. degree in Economics and pursuing the continuation towards his M.B.A., Mr. Derek Avallone developed and marketed several business ventures which are successful and profitable to this day. After college, Derek continued his education not only in academia but in research development for financial products and investment.

Currently, Mr. Avallone is developing financial models and investment tools to compliment the efforts of the Green Energy Councils mission to educate, protect and improve the environment through sustainable energy.
