Tanja Lewit, President and CEO of Panel Components & Systems Inc (PC&S) has over 22 years of experience in the Power and Energy Management Industry.
One of the founding members of PC&S Inc, Tanja has served as its Chief Executive since 1992. Since that time the company has seen consistent, profitable and sustainable growth by specializing in Power Measurement and AC and DC Control Power Systems. PC&S has partnered with their customers to design, develop, manufacture and distribute standard and customized Industrial Components and Instrumentation Solutions for several industries including US Military, Power Generation Manufacturers, Industrial Equipment and DC Transit systems.
PC & S is a Certified WBE/DBE with various State, Federal and Transit agencies and serves as a mentor for other companies looking to establish themselves within these certifications. Ms Lewit leads company functions in business development, while also overseeing quality and ISO certifications & processes and has succeeded in being one of the first ISO 9001:2008 certified companies in NJ to the new ISO specifications.
In addition to serving as PC & S's CEO, Tanja is an active member of AEE, Association of Energy Engineers,and the EGSA Electrical Generating Systems Association
Tanja has a passion for green initiatives and technologies and works in several leadership positions to develop new partnerships, alliances and solutions, including:
- Working on joint membership between AEE and EGSA as Power generation, and Alternate Renewable energies have become intertwined in the new green initiatives. She is especially excited about bringing members of these esteemed organizations together, while bridging and educating both groups about their respective technologies, capabilities and opportunities
- Serving as Corporate member of the US Green Energy Council and supporting an overall mission of carbon reduction, new sources of energy and renewable systems.
- Leading the NEW EGSA Green Energy Endorsement, a future Energy Star-type endorsement for Manufacturers and Dealers in the Generator industry. This "badge of honor" will align compliance to current EPA regulations, and recognize efforts in providing Generators Sets that are most efficient and GREEN.
- Within PC&S, Ms. Lewit is at the forefront in her industry seeking out business expansion opportunities in Industrial Green initiatives, specifically associated with power generation and alternative energy sources & management
Tanja currently sits on a Corporate Peer Board known as The Alternative Board, and has been a member for 3 years in a Northern NJ chapter working with peer Entrepreneurs and CEOs. She also sits on the St Judes Church Financial and Fund raising committees, and is working with the parish to grow and service the community in various good will projects.
